(Fremont County, WY) – A fatal snowmobile accident was reported on March 16 northwest of Dubois, south of Brooks Lake, according to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office call log issued on March 17.
The accident, which occurred around 11:40 AM, resulted in the death of a 36-year-old Iowa man, who was not named in the report.
The call log narrative states that evidence at the scene indicated the male subject was pinned beneath the snow machine after colliding with a tree.
The death is under investigation by the Fremont County Coroner’s Office.
