(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners have shared the following recap items for their February 11 regular meeting.
- The commission accepted a Farmers Insurance settlement check in the amount of $2,101.94 for damages to a county vehicle.
- The commissioners approved a request from Anthony Prate, Rock Shop Inn, to apply to the city of Lander for a catering permit for the Muley Fanatic Foundation fundraising banquet at the Lander Community Center on March 14, 2025.
- A letter of appreciation was approved to the Riverton Public Works Director for assistance provided with manpower and equipment from Central Wyoming Airport for setting a backup generator at the new Griffey Communications Tower.
- A BCBS plan change document was approved to add a $10 Teladoc copay for mental health and substance abuse.
- The strategic plan recommendations for Lower North Fork/North 2nd Street and Tweed Lane Road were approved as follows: Lower North Fork/North 2nd Street – bicycle lanes on both sides with pedestrian lane; and Tweed Lane – widened shoulders.
- A declaration of speed limit for unpaved roads, prepared by DOWL engineer Kasey Jones, was approved for Union Pass Road to be set at 30 miles per hour.
