(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commissioners convened for a regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 3, and have provided the following recap of the meeting.
- A right-of-way easement application for Riverview Road was approved.
- A Notice of Award to Alexander Excavation, Inc. was approved for the bid amount of $2,538,864.50, to come out of the 1% Tax for the Dutch Ed Lane Reconstruction project.
- It was approved to authorize the Fremont County Juvenile Justice Department to apply for, receive, and administer Community Juvenile Services Board (CJSB) grant funds for the 2026–2028 funding cycle.
- Resolution 2026-06, amending Resolution 2025-15, “Adopting Legal Holiday Closures and Other Closures for 2026,” was approved.
- A budget transfer for unanticipated revenue in the total amount of $4,700 for the Museum was approved.
- A resignation letter with a final date of March 2, 2026, from the Public Health Nurse Manager was accepted, and it was approved to advertise for the position.
The recap included a memo to employees indicating that county offices will be closed Feb. 16 for the Presidents Day holiday.
