(Hudson, WY) – For the employees of First Interstate Bank, Riverton and Lander, fighting hunger is a core element of their mission statement.
September 18th, bank employees and representatives of the Lander Care and Share Food Bank and the Riverton Christian Food Storehouse gathered at Frank’s Butcher Shop to acknowledge the donation of two hogs, purchased by First Interstate at the most recent Fremont County Fair Junior Livestock Sale. Additionally, Frank’s Butcher Shop processed the pork at no cost.
The two local food charities regularly provide sustenance to local families and individuals who struggle to put food on the table.
According to First Interstate’s Amanda Slack, “A primary focus of our charitable outreach revolves around combating hunger here in our local area.”
Each of the two recipient charities has been assisting local residents for over 35 years, and they express their gratitude for the generous donation provided by First Interstate Bank and Frank’s Butcher Shop.
