(Casper, WY) – The annual Wyoming Coaches Foundation All-Star games will once again be held at Casper College this summer. Boys and girls basketball and volleyball all-stars compete on Saturday, July 18th. Practices for both sports begin the 15th. The three games coincide with the Wyoming Coaches Association’s annual clinic and Hall of Fame banquet.
Lander Valley High School’s Ava Gerlach will compete for the “North” team in volleyball. The North squad will be led by Sundance High School’s Head Coach, Chelsey Blascyk. The “South” squad is led by Little Snake River’s Coach, Jenny Evans.
Two Fremont County ladies will compete for the North basketball team. Riverton High School’s Taelyn Leseberg and Lander Valley’s Breana Lincoln participate as teammates. The North team is led by Thunder Basin’s Haley Holmes while the South is coached by Green River’s Clinton Landon.
The lone local representatives on a South roster include one player and one coach. Wyoming Indian’s Cordell Spoonhunter will hit the floor while WIHS Head Boys Basketball Coach Craig Ferris will serve as an assistant under Lingle-Ft. Laramie’s Head Coach, Chris Cook.
The North team is represented locally by LVHS graduate Paxon Hollingshead. “Pax” will be under the direction of Meeteetse High School Head Coach, Zeb Hagen.
