(Fremont County, WY) – A 27-year-old Florida man was found deceased in the Lander area on Sunday, July 6, according to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office call Log issued on July 7. The cause of death was an apparent fall from a cliff.
The deceased’s name was not disclosed in the release.
The man’s body was recovered with the assistance of Lander Search and Rescue and other rescue personnel after the reporting party called law enforcement at 9:18 AM, the release states, and no evidence of foul play was observed.
The death is under investigation by the FCSO and the Fremont County Coroner’s Office.
