(Fremont County, WY) – An 18-year-old Fort Washakie area man drowned over the weekend, according to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) call log issued on July 29.
The log states that the FCSO received a call at 4:20 AM on July 27, where the female reporting party advised that “someone’s drowning,” in the East Monroe Ave./Rendezvous Ponds area.
The body was recovered on the morning of July 28, and the death is being investigated by the Fremont County Coroner’s Office and the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
The man’s identity was not shared in the release.
As of this writing, County 10 has not received a response from the FCSO with any further information.
County 10 has also submitted a public docket request from the Coroner’s Office, and will provide updates on the case as they become available.
