(Fremont County, WY) – Fort Washakie man Leo Barnaby II was sentenced to two years of supervised probation at his sentencing hearing held today June 10, before the Honorable Judge Alan B. Johnson.
Barnaby II was charged with and later pled “guilty” to threatening a federal law enforcement officer, after he threatened to “assault and murder” an FBI Special Agent who was investigating a shooting incident on April 29, 2023 that Barnaby was involved in.
Barnaby was ultimately sentenced to time already served and the two years of supervised release, in addition to being ordered to pay various Court fees.
The felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition charge against Barnaby was also dismissed.
As per the various conditions of the probation/supervised release, Barnaby was also ordered to receive cognitive/behavioral treatment, and to not use or possess firearms/ammunitions/explosives.
