(Riverton, WY) – Riverton Police Department Chief Eric Hurtado recently shared with County 10 that “foul play” is suspected in relation to the deceased person reported to have been found in a Riverton hotel room on March 7.
On Saturday afternoon, a post shared on the RPD Facebook page stated that “Officers responded to a call of a possible deceased person found in a hotel room,” and that detectives were investigating.
According to an update later added to the original post, a person of interest has been located, and a firearm was recovered during the investigation.
