(Fremont County, WY) – Several outstanding Fremont County 4-H members were among those awarded scholarships by the Wyoming State 4-H Foundation for the 2025-2026 academic year. In total, the Foundation awarded over $69,000 to support Wyoming youth attending the University of Wyoming or Wyoming community colleges.
Local Fremont County recipients include Cora Remacle and Emma Hill, who each earned first-year Ella E. Schloredt Scholarships valued at $1,700. Jackson Hill of Fremont County also received a continuing Ella E. Schloredt Scholarship, which rewards academic excellence and leadership in 4-H.
Abriella Santee was awarded a Marian M. Henderson Memorial Scholarship, valued at $1,500, recognizing her dedication and accomplishments.
Statewide, about $36,000 was awarded to first-time winners, while 16 continuing scholarships, ranging from $1,800 to $2,400, were granted to past recipients maintaining strong GPAs. Scholarships like the Edna Mae & Wallace McClaflin, Murdoch’s Ranch and Home Supply, and the W.D. Whitmire Leadership awards supported students from across Wyoming.
