Fremont County Attorney Patrick LeBrun is voicing his support of stronger shoplifting laws in Wyoming.
LeBrun took to Facebook Wednesday night, suggesting a “habitual shoplifter statute.”
This post comes a few hours after County 10 reported that Lander Police responded to 5 different shoplifters in a 3 and a half hour period Tuesday night.
Lander Police Department Public Information Officer Duane Kaiser told us that, “shoplifting is always happening, but the stores now are paying more attention to suspicious activity an observing more inside the store and contacting us.”
