(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes a personnel report from Building Maintenance Supervisor Mike Meeker, a public hearing regarding a new liquor license for Milford Grange LLC, and an update from Lander Bureau of Land Management Field Manager Ruth Miller.
After a break, the Commission will hear monthly updates from Sage Goff, of Court-Assisted Supervised Treatment and Juvenile Treatment Court, and Hattie Calvert with Youth Services.
The Commission will also discuss Dutch Ed with Transportation Superintendent Billy Meeks and Casey Jones of Dowl Engineering.
After a break for lunch, the Commission will hear an update from Wind River Transportation Authority Director Tim Nichols and discuss the PKJ Subdivision.
Museum Director Scott Goetz will then present a budget hearing request for two projects, and Colleen Nelson of Nelson Architects will participate in a discussion about the coroner’s building.
The Commission will convene into a closed executive session for personnel, after which Commissioner Clarence Thomas will lead a discussion about Gardens North.
The meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be live-streamed on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
