(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 13, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes monthly updates from Fremont County Sheriff Ryan Lee and Fremont County Coroner Erin Ivie.
The Commission will also hear a report from Fremont County Planning Supervisor Steve Baumann on the Logan Subdivision and a petition to vacate a portion of a county highway.
After a break, a budget hearing will be held on the planning and fuel system, and Fremont County Treatment Courts/Youth Services Executive Director Cassie Murray will give a monthly update before her department’s budget hearing, which will be followed by an executive session for personnel.
The agenda for the afternoon includes budget hearings with:
- ISS
- vehicle maintenance
- sheriff and grants
- sheriff-dispatch
- safety coordinator
- commissioners/ambulance
- county attorney
New business Tuesday includes the county commissioner scholarship selection and a semiquincentennial grant.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be live-streamed on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
