(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes a report from County Planning Supervisor Steve Baumann on a petition to vacate a portion of a county road (Deer Creek Road).
The Commission will also hear a personnel report from Transportation Superintendent Billy Meeks.
Next, Emergency Management Coordinator Milan Vinich and Hudson Mayor Sherry Older will discuss a Floodwise Community Assistance Memorandum of Understanding, and the Commission will hold an emergency management budget hearing.
After a break, Shila Aragon and Erica Yarber will give a Wind River Development Fund overview, and the Commission will convene into an executive session with Civil Attorney Nathan Maxon for potential litigation.
In the afternoon, County Treasurer Jim Anderson and County Assessor Tara Berg will lead a discussion on revenue projections and assessed values before the Commission holds the following budget hearings:

- clerk of district court
- coroner
- library
County Commissioners scholarship selection is listed under new business.
