(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes a presentation from Dubois Fire Chief Michael Franchinie regarding a proposal for a surplus vehicle.
After convening into an executive session for personnel, the commission will hold a three-quarter percent tax discussion with Mick Pryor, Chair of the Fremont County Association of Governments’ Joint Committee on Funding Key Services.
The commission will also hold a public hearing regarding liquor license renewals and hear an update from Treatment Court Executive Director Sage Goff.
After a break, the commission is scheduled to meet with Diana Mitchell about a treaty workshop discussion and invitation, and Vehicle Maintenance Superintendent Jared Hall will present a personnel and vehicle repair request.
The agenda also includes a personnel report from Fair Board Chairman Trevor Bekken and a fair reorganization work session.
The meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
