(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a special meeting at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
There is one item on the agenda: mill levy setting for fiscal year 2026-2027.
The Commission will also hold a regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the same location.
The agenda for the regular meeting includes a public hearing for a petition to vacate a portion of Pleasant Drive.
The Commission will also hear a quarterly update from Sheriff Ryan Lee followed by an update and personnel report from Museum Director Scott Goetz and an update from Treatment Court Director Sage Goff.
After a break, the Commission will hold a nuisance discussion with Planning Director Steve Baumann and County Attorney Nathan Maxon, receive a personnel report from Transportation Superintendent Billy Meeks, and consider Capital Revolving Fund approvals.
Both meetings are open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
