(Lander, WY) -The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The agenda for the meeting includes a report from County Planning Director Steve Baumann about Eagle Nest Subdivision vacation.
The commission will also hear a monthly update from JR Oakley from JR Project Management LLC and hold a proposed budget discussion with WIC Regional Supervisor Christie Frederick and State Managers Tina Fearneyhough or Michelle Balestrieri (Zoom).
Three interviews are on the commission agenda for Tuesday, with: Jeremy Vukich for the Fremont County Fair Board, Jennifer Lamb for the Fremont County Solid Waste Disposal District Board, and Alan Sinner for the Fremont County Predatory Animal Board.
Fremont County Clerk Julie Freese will give an ARPA update before the commission adjourns into the Board of Equalization to receive a hearing officer’s recommended decision and exceptions regarding Docket No. 2024-04 – Jacob and Karlene Stetler.
A roundtable discussion will be held with local legislators after lunch, followed by an agriculture lessee contract discussion with Dave Long and an executive session with Deputy Civil Attorney Nathan Maxon regarding potential litigation.
