(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a regular meeting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda, which is subject to change at any time, includes a budget hearing followed by a presentation from Planning Director Steve Bauman regarding a petition to vacate a portion of a publicly dedicated road.
The Commission will also hear an update and a report on an EDA Recompete Grant from Erika Yarber with the Wind River Development Fund/Wind River Sage Fund – then interview Yarber for a position on the Wind River Visitor’s Council.
Eleven interviews are scheduled to take place Tuesday for open positions on the Fremont County Library System Board.
The Library Board applicants include: Erin Cunningham, Alexandra Etsinger, Lauren Flower, Karen Hobart, Marta Mossburg, Kristy Richmond, Phyllis Roseberry, Natalie Ryback, Cady Shoutis, Loretta Tschirgi, and Tiffani Zimmer.
After lunch, the Commission will hear from the Citizens Affirming Sensible Taxation, then discuss staff salary and compensation adjustments with Clerk Julie Freese, Transportation Superintendent Billy Meeks, and Clerk of District Court Amanda Sanchez.
A budget work session will be held before adjournment.
Tuesday’s meeting is open to the public for in-person attendance and will be streamed live on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
