(Lander, WY) – The Fremont County Commission will hold a special meeting beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, in the County Commissioners’ Chambers in Room 205 of the Fremont County Courthouse, 450 N. Second St. in Lander.
The tentative agenda for the meeting, which is subject to change at any time, includes mill levy setting for fiscal year 2025-2026.
The commission will also convene into the Board of Equalization for 2025 property tax assessment contested cases, including the following order of dismissals:
- Wyoming Catholic College
- Aethon Energy Operating, LLC
- SageWest Health Care
- MPT of Riverton, LLC
Regular meeting
A regular commission meeting will be held beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, in the same location.
The tentative agenda for the regular meeting includes a Recreation Board interview with Paul Hoverson via Zoom.
The commission will also hear a personnel request from Library Director Anita Marple and discuss the emergency alert siren with John Kidwell and historic preservation with Maralyne Middour.
After a break, the commission will have a clinical supervisor discussion with Melinda Cox via Zoom.
Both of this week’s meetings are open to the public for in-person attendance and will be live-streamed on Fremont County’s YouTube channel, where past meeting recordings are stored.
