(Fremont County, WY) – Between the late hours of July 3 and the early morning hours of July 5, local fire agencies responded to a reported 31 fire calls, according to the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) call log issued on July 5.
The reporting agencies included the Dubois Fire District, Fremont County Fire Protection District (FCFPD), the Lander Volunteer Fire Department (LVFD) and the Riverton Fire Department (RFD).
Of those calls, 24 were reported grass/brush fires; 1 for Dubois Fire, 9 each for the FCFPD and the LVFD, and 5 for the RFD.
The remaining calls consisted of 5 “outside” fires, and two reports of vehicle fires.
No structure fires were reported, and the Frontier Ambulance calls listed in the log did not indicate if any fireworks-related injuries were reported either.
