Fremont County firefighters were called out to a total of 17 different incidents between Thursday, April 18th and Sunday, April 21st.
The Riverton Fire Department responded to four fires, on S. 3rd West, Goes In Lodge Rd, and Snowberry Ln Friday. They also responded to a fire call on 3rd Street Saturday. Riverton fire went to one fire alarm in St. Stephens and one carbon monoxide call on Prarie Road.
Lander firefighters were called to five grass fires Friday and Saturday. Fires were reported on N. 2nd, V1 Rd, Tweed Lane, Ethete Road, and Pope Lane. Lander fire also responded to what appears to be a fatal car accident Saturday near Shipton Lane and Ethete Road. A fatality has not been confirmed by BIA yet.
Lander Volunteer Firefighters also went to a vehicle accident Sunday afternoon on Highway 789.
Midvale and Morton-Kinnear firefighters were called to an accident involving an ATV Thursday afternoon off of Missouri Valley Road.
Fort Washakie’s Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1500 block of Paintbrush Lane.
