(Fremont County, WY) – At approximately 6:58 PM on February 17, 2026, Fremont County Fire Protection District firefighters responded to a reported structure fire in the area of Lost Wells Circle.
Units from Central Fire (Battalion 1), Morton-Kinnear Fire (Battalion 5), and Midvale Fire (Battalion 8) responded to the incident.
Upon arrival, crews found a barn fully engulfed in flames. Due to the extent of fire involvement, the structure was unable to be saved. Firefighters focused on containing the fire and protecting nearby property while conducting suppression and overhaul operations. Additional assisting units responded to support operations on scene.
