All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law
James Sandt Jr, 49, of Fremont County, is facing one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children.
The charge comes after a tip led the Division of Criminal Investigation and Fremont County Sheriff’s Office to seize Sandt’s cell phone. Court documents report that authorities found nude photos of girls estimated to be between 7 and 9 years old on that phone.
If convicted, one count of Sexual Exploitation of Children is a felony and punishable by imprisonment of up to 10 years and a fine of up to $10,000.
