Fremont County recorded 70+ mph wind gusts Sunday

Riverton's National Weather Service office has posted wind gust totals for what was a breezy Sunday afternoon.

In Fremont County, the Lost Wells Butte-area recorded a gust of 79 mph at 2:24 p.m. Muddy Gap also saw a gust of over 70 mph. 

Riverton's Airport, the Dubois Airport, and downtown Dubois all recorded gusts of 60 mph.

Chief Joseph Highway in Park County had an 87 mph wind gust at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Natrona County and Sublette County also saw gusts around 70 mph.
