(Fremont County, WY) – Wyoming’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was 3.4% in November 2025, according to a new report from the Research & Planning section of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. That’s a slight decrease from 3.6% a year earlier and well below the national rate of 4.6%.
Fremont County’s unemployment rate for November 2025 was 4.3% (from 4.2% in November 2024).
Rates rose in other counties, including Niobrara, Sweetwater, and Weston, and fell in Sheridan, Johnson, Sublette, and Hot Springs.
The highest unemployment figures in November 2025 were in Platte and Teton counties (4.7%), while the lowest were in Albany (2.9%), Johnson (3.1%), and Crook (3.1%).
Total nonfarm employment in Wyoming ticked up slightly, adding about 100 jobs over the year.
