Kelsey Eagleroad, 23, of Fremont County is facing one count of Felony Endangering Children, and one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance.
On September 2, 2020 a Riverton Police Department officer was on routine patrol when he encountered a vehicle with only one headlight working.
The officer pulled the vehicle over and upon visiting with the driver, Eagleroad, noted in court documents that she seemed, “nervous and fidgety.” During an interview, the officer asked Kelsey about methamphetamine use.
A vehicle search produced methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Eagleroad had three passengers in the vehicle at the time of her arrest, including a 6-year-old child.
Felony Endangering Children is punishable by up to 5 years of imprisonment and a fine of up $5,000. Possession of a Controlled Substance is a misdemeanor punishable by up to 1 year of imprisonment and a fine of up to $1,000.
