(Riverton, WY) – County 10, The Bootstrap Collaborative, and Central Wyoming College are proud to announce the launch of Fremont Founders, a new podcast hosted by Jett Odle that explores what it takes to stand your business up in Fremont County.
Each episode will feature conversations with entrepreneurs, founders, small business owners, and ecosystem partners who are helping shape Fremont County’s business community. Through their stories, listeners will hear what it looks like to build something from the ground up, overcome challenges, and create opportunities right here at home.
The first episode of Fremont Founders features Steve Doyle, founder of Doyle Family Farm in Riverton and one of the people behind the Fremont Local Market. Doyle shares how his path from the Coast Guard to farming in Fremont County eventually led him into local food advocacy, entrepreneurship, and the passage of Wyoming’s Food Freedom Act.
Doyle Family Farm raises cows, chickens, lambs, vegetables, and more. But Steve’s story is about more than farming. It is about identifying barriers, working through regulations, and helping build a system where local producers have more ways to reach local customers.
The first episode also features an ecosystem partner spotlight with Cindy Olson Roden, executive director of the Riverton Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center. Cindy explains how the Chamber supports entrepreneurs and small businesses as a connector, advocate, promoter, and resource hub. From networking events and legislative advocacy to business promotion and referrals to organizations like the Wyoming Business Council, Workforce Services, The Bootstrap Collaborative, and others, Cindy emphasizes that business owners do not have to grow alone.
Together, Steve and Cindy’s conversations highlight one of Fremont County’s greatest strengths: access. Entrepreneurs here can connect directly with other business owners, local organizations, community colleges, chambers, producers, and customers who want to see local businesses succeed.
