There is a new face in Riverton’s healthcare scene, Cole Nash, Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT). Cole brings his specialized expertise in orthopedics, sports, and neurologic rehabilitation to the area. His arrival at Fremont Therapy Group is exciting for both the local community and for patients.
What sets Cole apart in the world of physical therapy is his philosophy that the body, when properly guided and challenged, has the ability to heal itself. Certified in dry needling through NAIOMT, he has a diverse skill set that includes advanced techniques aimed at treating pain and helping patients return to the activities they love.
“I believe in a natural, exercise-based approach to healing,” Cole explains. “It’s amazing to see patients regain strength and confidence, achieving goals they thought were impossible.”
Cole’s journey into physical therapy is one that began with a completely different professional path. Originally pursuing another career, he soon found himself drawn to the idea of working with the body’s natural ability to recover and move. That shift in focus led him to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center and an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a minor in Psychology from Utah State University.
Originally from Preston, ID, Cole has always had a deep love for the outdoors. In fact, his resume includes a unique stint working at a sport fishing lodge in Alaska for four summers. His love for activities like hunting, fishing, dirt biking, and golfing keeps him in touch with nature, something he’s eager to share with his new community.
His wife, who teaches Family and Consumer Sciences at Lander Middle School, shares Cole’s enthusiasm about their new life in Wyoming. Together, they are eager to get to know the people and places that make Lander and Riverton special.

Whether it’s sports rehabilitation, injury recovery, or treating chronic pain, Cole is prepared to help Riverton residents take the next step toward healing. With his combination of education, experience, and genuine passion for improving lives, it’s clear that Cole is a valuable addition to the community.
