Each week, staff at Fort Washakie High School nominate a student who has shown outstanding behavior toward their peers and in their academics. At the end of the year, County 10 will award a $500 scholarship to one of the nominated students! Click here to view all nominated students.
Henessy Flores was nominated as the Fort Washakie High School student of the week by Veronica Velarde.
Henessy has strived and worked hard on her grades all year long to make her way to the top of her class. On top of that, she has spearheaded several fundraising projects to make money for her senior trip. And just to try something new, she joined the track & field team for the first time ever in her student career while doing an internship for the Office of Indian Education!
