Ava Deavor was nominated as the Gannett Peak student of the week by Leslee Ayers.
Ava is an incredibly curious first grader. She loves discovering new patterns in math and reading. Ava loves learning so much that she soaks up everything she hears and sees. She has come across challenges in the classroom and has persevered through them with a positive attitude. Ava does the right thing even when no one is looking. She has shown kindness and compassion to her peers and teachers. She shows what it looks like to be respectful, responsible and safe at Gannett Peak Elementary. Way to go, Ava!
