(Bozeman, MT) – The Lander Tigers and Lady Tigers opened the 2025 season with a long trip north to the Tom LeProwse Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Bozeman, Montana. The Tiger boys didn’t place anyone in the top six in the huge Big Sky tournament, but the Tiger girls had three wrestlers on the awards platform with a fourth and a pair of fifth place finishes.
Finishing fourth for Lander was Andie Gibson at 145 pounds. Teammates Jordan Nielsen and Harlie Velarde earned fifth place medals at 130 and 170 pounds respectively.
