(Fremont County, WY) – The Bureau of Land Management Lander Field Office has temporarily closed a portion of the Hudson–Atlantic City Road (BLM Road 2302) for public safety. Recent snowmelt has washed out a culvert and created hazardous conditions for vehicular travel and public land users.
The closure affects the section of road from Highway 287 on Beaver Rim to the Lewiston Lakes Road. Closure signs have been placed just off Highway 287 and on the other end of the washout. The road will remain closed while the damage is assessed and until repairs can be completed.
“We appreciate your patience while the needed repairs are completed,” said Ruth Miller, BLM Lander Field Manager.
