The USDA Forest Service – Shoshone National Forest has shared that Brooks Lake Road outside of Dubois is currently impassable,” according to a post shared on its Facebook page Thursday morning, July 23.
“In addition to the various closures outside of Cody, recent rains have now impacted the Dubois area as well,” the post states. “Our staff has been out assessing the damage and waiting patiently for these storms to pass so we can start to dig out and clear the roads and trails that have received damage. Please be patient our goals are the same as yours, to regain access to the forest as soon as possible.”
