Riverton Police Department shares the following:
In the last few days, a local bank has reportedly found five counterfeit $50 bills. RPD asks that you take precautions and check bills for counterfeit.
They are working to resolve the issue. If you are issued counterfeit bills they ask you to contact the police immediately.
