(Fremont County, WY) – Paving of Rendezvous Road may happen this week, according to a post shared on the WYDOT District 5 Facebook page on July 10.
It was announced back in June that Rendezvous Road, near St. Stephens/south of Riverton, would be closed indefinitely due to a culvert failure near the St. Stephen’s Cemetery.
“The goal of the Wind River Intertribal Council-DOT is to reopen the roadway late this week,” the WYDOT post goes on to state.
“Special thanks to everyone for their patience as the culvert replacement project, tree clearing and fence building has taken a while to complete on the Wind River Reservation.”
