(Fremont County, WY) – WYDOT has announced that US-26/287 west of Dubois (between the E Boundary of Grand Teton Nat’l Park and Lava Mountain Lodge) is closed today, September 2, as of 4 PM.
The closure is due to excessive smoke and limited visibility near the Fish Creek Fire on Togwotee Pass.
The WYDOT District 5 Facebook page states that the duration of the highway closure is “not known at this time,” and to “make alternative travel plans” if you are able.
