(Fremont County, WY) – Portions of US 287 / WY 78 and WY 135 in the Lander and Riverton areas are closed due to winter conditions, as of at least 9:20 PM on October 29, according to WYDOT.
US 287 / WY 789 is closed “Between Sweetwater Station Jct and Jct WY 28 / US 287,” and WY 135 is closed “Between WY 139 and Sweetwater Station Jct.”
There is currently no estimated opening time for either road.
Wyoming 28 South Pass roads remain closed as well, also with no estimated opening time.
No unnecessary travel advisories were also issued for WY 135 “Between WY 789 and WY 139,” and WY 136 “Between WY 135 and Gas Hills.”
Conditions in those areas are listed as “Slick with Snowfall, Limited Visibility.”
