(South Pass, WY) – WY-28, South Pass, has been closed for all traffic by the Wyoming Department of Transportation Thursday afternoon.
As of 1:20 p.m. the estimated reopening time for the roadway was unavailable.
Conditions prior to the closure included slick roadways and limited visibility due to wind. The majority of highways across Fremont County are listed as slick to slick-in-spots. Earlier this week, WYDOT released an estimated weather conditions timeframe video, projecting heavy snow at times Thursday into Friday morning.
