(South Pass, WY) – As of 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 6th WY-28, South Pass, has been closed by the Wyoming Department of Transportation for winter conditions and crashes.
Prior to the closure, roadways were listed as slick with limited visibility and dangerous winds. An “extreme blowover risk” was in place since Monday night, closing the roadway to all high-profile vehicles under 20,000 GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight.)
