The City of Lander is responding to a water main break that occurred this afternoon on Victory Lane. Customers in the affected area may experience temporary water service interruptions or reduced water pressure.
Residents and businesses across town may also notice cloudy or discolored water. If this
occurs, we recommend running your cold water taps until the water clears to help flush your service line. Please note: the water remains safe for drinking and everyday use.
City crews will begin repairs this afternoon once utility locates are complete and after middle school pick-up traffic has subsided. Repairs are expected to be finished later this evening.
