(Lander, WY) – The City of Lander is responding to a water main break that occurred today on Bellvue Avenue, according to the following release the City of Lander issued around 3 PM.
“Customers in the affected area may experience temporary water service interruptions or reduced water pressure. If you notice cloudy or discolored water, we recommend running your cold water taps until the water clears to help flush your service line. Please note that the water remains safe for drinking and everyday use.
“City crews will begin repairs this afternoon once utility locates are complete. Repairs are expected to be completed later this evening. We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding. For everyone’s safety, please drive with caution around the work area and obey all street closures and detours.
