(Wind River Canyon, WY) – WYDOT is urging drivers to use caution in the Wind River Canyon today, May 30, following a rockslide that took place last night, according to a post shared on the WYDOT District 5 Facebook page.
The Wednesday night rainstorm reportedly caused the rockslide to occur near milepost 126.8 on US20/WY789, about six miles south of Thermopolis.
“Again, please remember to watch for falling rocks when driving through Wyoming canyons,” the post concludes.
