(Wyoming) – The approaching Winter Storm Advisory for most of the Cowboy State has several Wyoming high school activities moving or canceling events preemptively.
Locally, here are the changes we know of so far…
Riverton boys and girls soccer versus Natrona (Was Friday, moved to May 5th)
Lander Vs. Jackson softball (Was Friday, moved to May 4th)
Shoshoni Track Invitational (Was Friday, has been canceled)
Elsewhere across the state, track and field meets that were scheduled for Friday have been moved. Rawlins and Evanston bumped their meets to Wednesday. Burns and Douglas High School’s shifted their meets from Friday to Thursday.
Cody was supposed to travel to Jackson Thursday in softball, but that has been postponed. Nearly the entire Friday and Saturday slate of softball across Wyoming has been postponed per WyoPreps…
FRIDAY:
Wheatland at #2 Cheyenne Central – postponed to April 29
Laramie at #5 Rock Springs – postponed to May 8
Cheyenne South at Green River – postponed to May 8
Worland at Jackson – postponed to May 4
SATURDAY:
Cheyenne South at #5 Rock Springs – postponed to May 9
Laramie at Green River – postponed to May 9
Pinedale and Rawlins girls and boys have also postponed their soccer contests Saturday for May 5th.
