Central Wyoming College will be presenting a Hot Notes | Cool Nites Concert in the
Riverton City Park on Monday, July 22 at 7 p.m. and in the Lander City Park on Monday,
July 29 at 7 p.m.
On July 22, The Rob Weimann Trio, comprised of Joe Lefevre, Sean Francis and Rob
Weimann will be performing as guest artists. The Trio is an eclectic, Americana group.
Drawing inspiration from the Bighorns to the Windrivers and life in-between, their music
is heartfelt, honest and captivating.
On July 29, the Joey Leone Band will be performing in Lander. Joey Leone’s “classic
rock reputation is legendary dating back to the October 1992 issue of Guitar Player
magazine where Joey’s sound was compared to none other than Jimi Hendrix,” according
to a press release. He blends classic, rock, soul, and country music. According to his
website, he plays an “authentic blues in the tradition of his influences Albert King, Magic
Sam, Freddie King, and Otis Rush.”
Dr. Jeremy Cochran, the Community Band Director, says the CWC Community Band
will perform a variety of band works. On the 22 nd the band will be performing music from
TV favorites and on the 29 th the band will feature movie music.
Hot Notes | Cool Nites Concerts in the Park is in its 30th year. The concerts this year are
sponsored in part by the Lander and Riverton Recreation Boards, Home Source Realty,
Wyoming Arts Council, Rocky Mountain Agronomy, and the City of Shoshoni.
Performers interested in playing in the CWC Community Band or others wishing to get

jcochran@cwc.edu. The band rehearses at 5:30 p.m. in the park and are served dinner by
Covenant Presbyterian Church at 6:30 p.m.
