9:30 a.m. update: I-80 has re-opened
(Laramie, WY) – Interstate 80’s high elevation between Laramie and Cheyenne experienced some winter weather overnight. As of 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, multiple vehicles involved in crashes have been reported, forcing WYDOT to close the stretch of interstate.
The estimated re-opening time from the Wyoming Department of Transportation website is between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
As a result of the closure, US30 is also closed between Laramie and Cheyenne.
