(Sheridan, WY) – The Wyoming Department of Transportation has closed Interstate 90 between Buffalo and Sheridan Friday morning due to winter conditions.
As of 9:15 a.m. Friday there was no estimated re-opening time on the stretch of highway which has been blanketed by heavy snowfall and strong winds.
As of 9:30 a.m. the I-90 closure now extends to the Montana border
The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office has also issued a “No Unnecessary Travel” warning for the entirety of the county.
WYDOT has several other travel warnings posted across the state Friday due to snow, rain and strong winds.
