(Dubois, WY) – The Dubois Town Council will hold a regular meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Council Chambers at Dubois Town Hall, 712 Meckem Street.
The agenda for the meeting includes a resolution authorizing the submission of a Never Sweat Recreation Board grant application to aid in the construction of an ice-skating rink in the Dubois Town Park.
The council will also consider an economic development tax grant application from Dubois Meat Locker LLC.
The agenda says the grant application was initially approved in July for $7,200, but “the applicant requested that the application be reconsidered in the third quarter 2024 grant cycle in the amount of $10,000 as applied.”
The money will go toward “the business startup of a meat storage locker,” according to the agenda.
The council will also consider awarding a $14,205 Tourism Asset Development grant to Ring Lake Ranch for the 2025 summer advertising program, as recommended by Destination Dubois.
Other items on the agenda include Accounts Payable and TAD Accounts Payable.
An executive session will be held if necessary.
