The Lander 4th of July parade looked a little different this year. With the cancellation of the Pioneer Days Parade, a group of community residents banded together to create a “pirate” parade.
Ultimately, the residents did obtain a parade permit and were able to close traffic both directions for the festivities. Despite a much smaller parade, smaller crowd of onlookers, and no candy, it was still a colorful display of Lander patriotism.
