Leaders from the Wyoming Department of Education toured several parts of the state last week, including a stop in Lander.
WDE hosted a workshop called the “Importance of Indian Education For All.”
Teachers were trained on how to integrate new standards into Social Studies and other subjects. Schools have three full years to implement Indian Education for All content and performance standards.
Officials also toured schools in Gillette, Rozet, and continued dialogue with leaders in Taiwan about energy, business, and education.
