Charles Keith Cady, (Chuck) passed away on May 31, 2025, at his home in Mesquite, NV. He was born on December 29, 1945, the son of Keith & Ruby Cady in Jackson, WY. Chuck grew up, along with his younger sisters, Marty Ann and Virginia Lee, living in Lander at the time of his mother’s death in 1958, and then moving through Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. In 1963 he was married to Fern Hume in Rangely, CO and to this marriage first his son, Charles Keith Cady, Jr was born and in 1964 his daughter Mary Lou joined the family. Chuck spent his career in a variety of jobs, logging, pipe fitting, long haul truck driving and ultimately installing fibre optic cable underground for a number of companies throughout the West. After his marriage ended to Fern, he would eventually marry Shirley Shaw and help raise her sons, Stephen, Richard and Kevin France. After Shirley passed in 2016 Chuck married Lynda Freeman in 2017. They were retired, living in Mesquite, NV where Chuck was able to enjoy a number of hobbies: fishing, camping, traveling and exploring the desert on his four-wheeler. Chuck is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Floyd & Gladys Cady, his parents, sister, Marty Ann, and spouse Shirley. He is survived by his wife, Lynda, children Charlie Cady and Mary Lou Dixon (Roy), sister Virginia, his three step-sons, multiple grandchildren and friends across the country. Services were held on June 12, 2025 in Mesquite, NV.
